County Prison Whate Appeals in Crime Case
William Wojtalik appeals a 1940 conviction for assault and robbery of Mrs. Lynch, claiming he did not commit the crime and knows who did. Prosecutors note Szewczyk and accomplices were sentenced to eight years. Wojtalik is imprisoned on parole violation and maintains he learned the real culprits while jailed. The petition, filed by Edward G. Petrillo, seeks to overturn the conviction and pin the crime on others.
