Thomas H Golden Pottsville was picked to replace A Cus tle Bimith Montrose resigned and Howard A Nicodemus Waynesboro BD 2 to fill a vacancy.
A human foot was discovered in a car broken glass at the West Penn Glass Company plant in Marionville. State Police and plant officials halted unloading as workers continued the routine day’s work, fearing more remains might be found. The incident stalled the shipment and prompted an investigation, with authorities handling the case from Punxet[it]awney headquarters.
In Hartford Superior Court Judge William J. Shea sentenced three Ringling Brothers officials and three other circus men to prison terms following the deadly Ringling Brothers fire.
