No information today on the alleged Cory native William H. Poulez aged 89 retired from New York Central and Mrte Raitroalt of Bincer. He has been reported as the killer of Charles A. Facley of Stratford Conn. Poulez pleaded guilty to murder and is slated for the gallows at Wethersfield prison on June 15.
Pittsburgh February 21 Andrew W Mellon’s fortune, staged as a chain of paper dollars, would stretch from New York City to Bombay. Personal holdings were disclosed at 97 603 005.49, with business interests pushing estimates to billions more.
A report to the American Association of University Professors condemns the University of Pittsburgh as Mellon dominated. The special committee says university administration is inimical to the institution’s welfare and that Dr Ralph Turner was dismissed for liberal beliefs amid a purge of Mellon-era staff.
