Executors Fight Claim Over Prescott Will In Erie
In an Erie Orphans Court answer filed by executors Frank Wallace and the Second National Bank, they deny that late Charles W. Prescott was influenced or of unsound mind when he made a will estimated to be worth about 8 million dollars. They state Prescott was fully capable and that the will dictated to his physician Elmer Hess was executed at his direction. Two Prescott sisters of Portsmouth New Hampshire contend the first will benefiting local hospitals was secured by Hess influence. A second will favors the sisters, while Wallace and the bank insist the original document should stand and the later will be denied probate.
