Party at French Creek Dairymen Celebrate Farewell
A farewell party for Mrs Tenhecken Dorothy and Mr Bennink drew about thirty guests to their French Creek home. Neighbors and friends from Meadville and Union City shared games, socializing, and a lavish supper. Attendees included Mr and Mrs Chris Gravini and families, Mr and Mrs Clyde Courtright, Mr and Mrs Sam Dunnewold, and many others amid a night of fellowship. A cactus plant owned by Mrs Jennie Bennink drew admiration, reportedly bearing 130 rose colored blooms and over a hundred inches around the plant.
