Doris, two year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Jones, almost burned when a stove fire started in a Yarnell Street grocery. Clara Nicholas, alone in the store, wrapped the child in her coat and smothered the flames, averting serious burns. The child escaped with a slight forehead burn.
