New Blue Cross Pact Aims to Curb Welfare Hospital Misuse
Harrisburg AP says a new contract between the state welfare agency and Capital Blue Cross will audit hospital invoices to prevent misuse by medical assistance recipients. The pact covers continued hospitalization needs, post review of discharges, and will reimburse audit costs at $2.50 per invoice.
