Cape Kennedy AP reports NASA plans a nearly three hour space walk with Gemini 8 astronauts David Scott and Neil Armstrong. They will uncouple from the target, dock with either Agena or ATCA, and test propulsion as Scott exits to maneuver around the capsule.
The Gemini crew will maneuver a hand held jet gun and use rear grips while Armstrong fires small rockets to back Gemini 8 from its target satellite. Scott will drift 10 to 15 feet away swimming in space to photograph and possibly touch the satellite, tethered 75 to 100 feet from the capsule. They expect about three hours outside and six docking approaches from varying distances.
Philadelphia lawyer Jerome H. Ellis challenged the view that juries drive soaring insurance rates through large awards.
