Erie Father and Child Die from Gas Fumes
A father Archie Hoag and his 22 month old daughter Wiesner died from gas fumes in their Bria home at 125 West 18th Street after noon. The mother Anna Gifford Hoag is in critical condition at St Vincent's Hospital with fear of death. The family had moved from 286 West 20th Street after pipes froze and repairs were needed. The tragedy was discovered by the grandmother Mrs Bacholtz who found Hoag unresponsive.

Four Dogs Euthanized After Attacking Child in Cortland
