New operators Samuel and Mac Menn of New York plan to reopen the former Corry Chair Company at East Washington Street around March 15. They have closed a deal with Citizens National Bank of Corry and expect to start with 25 workers, rising to about 100, with three months of advance orders already booked for 25 carloads of chairs shipping starting March 30, 1936. The venture aims to produce medium grade hardwood seat chairs for furniture makers, department stores, and dealers.
