Washington County graft trial proceeds in rackets case
Special Prosecutor Ralph W. Pecock said 35 Commonwealth witnesses remain to be heard in the Washington County graft trial of two Forme District Alleghenies and two county detectives. The state called 30 persons to the stand in the first two days. Pecock sought to show the defendants diverted part of funds seized in lottery and slot machine raids during their term of office. The three are charged with embezzling about 1700 dollars confiscated in raids.
