Optimism Rules in Wall Street Bullish mood continues

Wall Street held line on the rate at the special meeting of New York bank directors and traders grew more bullish over the weekend. Brokers anticipate little change in policy as Congress and Secretary Melon influence the reserve situation while stocks rally on bargain prices and expectations of further gains. The market showed a sharp dip followed by a strong Monday rise, with the industrial average climbing and the railroad index advancing. A weak money market is cited as a danger, and a Federal Reserve report due Thursday is expected to show stronger bank conditions and reserve activity in government securities.
