Nineteen Bodies Recovered from Mine Disaster in Pennsylvania

Reported at noon today six more bodies were removed from Mine No 1 of the Jefferson and Charfield Coal and Coke Co in Johnstown Pa raising the death toll to nineteen. The mine had just been accessed after a deadly blast or collapse, with American workers among the injured. Authorities did not disclose full findings from the continued rescue effort or the exact cause yet.

Youth Today Clears Death of Girl

William Orpet, a University of Wisconsin junior, confessed to going to Highland Park after calling Marion Lambert to meet him in the swamps near Highlnd Park.
