Oneida Market Change Hands Under Hassett Ownership

Nurse falls in elevator shaft at Corry Hospital

Miss Sutcliffe, a nurse at Corry Hospital, fell from the first floor into the elevator shaft Saturday evening. She sustained a compound fracture of the right arm and severe bruises to the head and body. Her condition is not alarming and she will be off duty for a few days.

New Duffy Shop Under Construction in Berlow Building

A. P. Mount & Son architects and builders have four foremen at work in the George Berlow building on South Center street preparing the W. H. Duffy & Co. shop. The new front will be installed in about two weeks with a ten foot tiled approach and 96 inch window displays. The entrance will be center with a long paneled glass feature across the top and a south window display fronting the street. A side stairway will access the rubber goods departments at the rear.
