Spartansburg Wins to Take UAVL Lead Over East Forest
Spartansburg High beat Pleasantville 63 to 58 on Pleasantville home court to gain a half game on East Forest in the Upper Allegheny Valley League. Bob Troyer scored 20 for Spartansburg, while Greg Holtz led Pleasantville with 14. Spartansburg also won the junior varsity 49 39. Next Friday they visit East Forest in a possible UAVL championship preview.
