Firemen Hurt In Pittsburgh Blaze At Six Story Building

Tragic arsenic poisoning strikes Brownwood family
In Brownwood Texas on February 11 Mrs Lonnie Jones and three children were near death from arsenic poisoning after a pieced mixture of baking powder and poison was found in a mudhole near their home. Three other boys in the family had already died from the toxin. Dr G W Gry county health officer found one can of argent in the nearly empty kitchen. The destitute family had not worked for weeks and the father remained consciousness but silent.

Rail extension in Connellsville signals new trunk system
Connellsville Pa February 11 the 15 million dollar extension of the Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railroad was dedicated with spike driving. Len I. Smith, 82, former paying teller at the First National Bank of Erie, pleaded guilty to embezzling $78,000 over three years and was sentenced to four years in the federal penitentiary at Atlanta. U. S.
