New Fire Alarms Prompt Organization of Three Classes

An earning class will be taught by Miss Jane Muthern at 4 PM Monday, and a shorthand class by Mrs. Genevieve Johnson at 7 PM Monday. A domestic economics course is planned for later in the week under Milas Hazel Knowlton.

A large Dahoga fire destroyed about twenty homes in the county village five miles south of Kane. Firefighters from Kane and three neighboring towns brought it under control after using ice-hole water. A 51 year old resident, Mrs Herman Peterson, suffered severe burns while her son Arthur 16 tried to smother the flames. A Camp GCC youth unit aided the effort.
