Community Celebrates New Year and Farewells in Corry
A Chinese New Year home party honored Mr. and Mrs. Gary Maine who recently returned from Baumholder Germany where he served in the Army. James D. Vanik of West Covina received a promotion to assistant vice president of customer services at Union California Bank. A missionary speaker from Gabon Africa was set for a church Women’s Association meeting. The Eleventh Grade Tri-Hi-Y Club plans a YMCA meeting, Columbus Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary elected officers for March 1, and a retirement banquet honored Mr. and Mrs. Mark Savko with over 100 guests attending at the Corry Motor Inn.
