Grand Master Robert Deyoe of Oil City urged Masons to live upright, moral lives and set an example for society during Sparta Lodge 872 centennial in Spartansburg. About 172 Masons attended a dinner at Spartansburg High School as Zem Zem Pipe Band of Erie performed.

Butters Atlantic Changes Hands At Corry Service Station
Over the weekend the Butters Atlantic Service at 121 South Center Street changed hands to Raymond Mosher of Corry. Charles W. Butters, who ran the station for nearly 18 years, will stay on to assist the new manager for the week. Mosher, a Corry Area High School graduate, said there will be no major changes and this is a new venture for him.

Two Die In Light Plane Crash Near Washington Pa
Washington Pa AP two Missouri men died when a single engine Cessna 192 crashed into a wooded hilltop near Washington county. After 24 hours rescuers found pilot Robert Clark 23 and Bruce Holloman 29 of St Louis suburbs pinned in wreckage. Plane ran low on fuel, passengers had stopped to gas up in Parkersburg West Virginia then headed toward Allegheny County Airport near Pittsburgh. Clark reported being over Bellaire Ohio and low on fuel.
