Motorists are advised that the Union City to Titusville highway bridge between belts 1 and 4 will be closed Friday afternoon while Centerville bridge is moved. D C Minteer, project contractor, issued the notice and urged drivers to plan alternate routes.
Harold Danner of Union City was bound over to the next county term after a hearing on larceny of two automobiles in Union City. One car was stolen then abandoned, the other recovered near the town outskirts where he is believed to have slept in it. Danner recently returned to Union City from Akron and is thought to have been intoxicated during the theft. Mr and Mrs Ned Huntley of Lotville are visiting the city with friends.
Funeral services for Florence Rhodes, a longtime Corry resident, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at Davison Funeral Home with Rev. Lyle D. Otts officiating. After the ceremony, the body was taken to Columbus for interment at West Lawn Cemetery. Relatives from Buffalo, Dunkirk, and Mayville attended.

An all day Baptist Missionary Society meeting was held at Rev. E. A. Hook’s home on West Pleasant Street. A cafeteria lunch for 29 guests was served, with sewing for Rankin Center Home and distribution of programs and study books. An March session with Mrs. J N Rick ers will finish garments and other articles.
Mr E church services drew a good crowd at the First Methodist Episcopal church with Rev Frank Neigh delivering an engaging sermon. Services continue through Friday night followed by a meeting of the official board and a special session of the quarterly conference. Friday is church school night inviting teachers and pupils to attend in large numbers. Mrs Earl Say of Philadelphia arrived for a visit at the home of Mr and Mrs Frank Say on North Center street.
