Organ Recital Delights Corry Audience At Local Church
A large crowd gathered at the First Methodist Episcopal Church in Corry for Dr. Gulick’s organ recital led by Rev. Frank A. Wisner with Rev. A. L. Roth assisting. The program featured composers such as Bach Handel Mendelssohn Dvorak Sullivan Rachmaninoff and Mascagni with organ solos and congregational hymns praised for skillful interpretation and emotional response. The recital, noted for sparking interest in organ music among locals, cements Corry’s regard for Gulick as a temporary resident, with hopes for another concert before his June departure.
