She was years old and had spent most of her life in the city where she was held in esteem by many. Survived by husband a daughter Hoa Matteson two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 30 tomorrow at the home with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Jacob Bender aged 64 died Sunday morning in Oil City after a two month illness. Born in Germany at age 18 he worked as a Tanner at Spring Creek and in Ferry. He was a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church and was cared for by daughter Ma. Harry M. Smith in Oil City. arrangements pending.
