R J Follett, retired hardware businessman and longtime Corry resident, died this morning at his home at West Pleasant Street and West Avenue. Born in 1848 in Columbus, he moved to Corry as a boy, worked with C J Swift, formed Brigham and Follett, and co founded Barlow Hardware. He retired seven years ago due to ill health and was active in Freemasonry, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, and local road improvement efforts. Survived by two daughters Jessie Desmond and Harriet Clough, a grandson Robert Deamond, and one sister Mary Manley. Funeral Friday at 2:30 PM at his home, Rev G Stanley West officiating. burial at Pine Grove Cemetery.

General W. W. Atterbury president of the Pennsylvania Railroad said at Union Station that business depressions run 16 to 18 months before a recovery begins and that the bottom has been reached.
