In Selma Alabama King remained jailed to dramatize his civil rights struggle as about 250 Negroes and six white volunteers jailed during a massive right to vote march were released on $200 bonds. Organizers planned new marches in Perry Mat Ergo and Lowndes counties to protest the arrest and press voter registration drives in the region.
Judge Alexan C. Blick rein has approved county borrowing of 631000 to finance a new building at the Rouse Home. Trooper Walter Krupa said neither driver was hurt and damage to both autos totaled 1000 dollars, 50 each.
Major William Harris of Chambersburg Pennsylvania graduates in his class at the Mexican War College Friday. A West Point graduate, he receives his diploma from Mexico's President Gustavo Diaz Ordaz. Harris came for foreign area specialist training and is now assigned to the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador.
