Paul Hammer, 11, remained in ethical condition at Hamot Hospital after a Sunday incident left him with severe internal injuries. Hospital attendants say he is fighting hard and holding his own. The piece also references early life insurance history from 1588 and its marine-insurance roots.

Prizes awarded included Miss Shirley Larson Miss Marjorie Owens Miss Agnes Pragar Mrs. Irvin Young and others. H J Tobias won the door prize from a fish pond. Refreshments featured heart shaped Jello salad bridecake ice cream and coffee with a red and white Valentine theme.

Rev and Mrs Joseph R Clair and family invite parish members and city clergy and wives to open house at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church rectory 154 Maple Avenue. The event runs from five until nine o clock tomorrow Sunday.
Mr and Mrs Howard Gates of Wright street hosted a party last evening marking their 43rd wedding anniversary. Ralph Gates and 35 relatives attended as guests. Guests enjoyed sandwiches salad jello cake and toffee with a low and white color scheme. The couple received a purse of money from the group.
Dolores Snyder died after a confrontation with Barbara, who attempted to assist from a bridge. Barbara reported the struggle and Dolores warned her to stay back before jumping into the river. Dolores’s mother described the skating party and a prior curfew violation.
After the Corry Strong Vincent basketball game at the Junior High Setel gymnasium the Beaverette Club of Corry High School held a successful dance. Mrs Merrill Lislie led a four piece orchestra. Chaperons included H Lynn Rice Roland Putnam and Mary Gourdet. Proceeds benefited the sweater fund for Senior lettermen.
A daughter was born last evening at Marion Ind hospital to Mr and Mrs Clark of Upton. Mrs Clark is Edna Johnston of this city.
