Former Corry Wife Child and Waterford Resident Shot

A former Corry wife and her child along with a Waterford man were shot at close range by an unknown gunman in Erie this morning. Mrs Hatth Kerson Miles, 31, and her 4 year old daughter Sara Gardner, 47, were hospitalized with injuries described as critical. Leo Hughes, 41, also of Waterford, was wounded and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital. The assailant approached their car at 12th and Raspberry streets near the Griswold plant, firing with a .45 caliber pistol and fleeing. Police reported no clues or motive and contact relatives while continuing the investigation.

Will Pick Up Christmas Trees in Corry City
