Washington December 81 The Brannan plan asks corn and rice growers to cut plantings by 20 percent and 37 percent respectively to reduce surpluses of about 8 billion dollars. Prices to farmers fall below parity, signaling lower government support levels next year. Eggs see a separate price support adjustment with higher guaranteed buys in January and February. The overall aim is about a 1950 crop of 2.627 billion bushels versus 3.977 billion this year.
