Anderson and relatives were briefly held in a ravaged private ruin before freeing. Police were alerted after Anderson stumbled to quarters with incoherent account of the events.
Authorities press for early confession from Dr Charles McMillan in the death of Amelia Appleby. McMillan, 57, after 24 hours of questioning, claimed he would have a story if allowed to see his estranged wife. Police note evidence against him as convincing. he denies involvement.
