Cooperstown airman pleads guilty in Titusville assault case
An 18 year old R D 1 Cooperstown airman pleaded guilty to assault and battery for the beating of Ronald Metgar 10 of Hydetown on Spring Creek Road. Fines and costs totaled 27 50 set by Alderman N Allen Lave. Two other youths were observed guilty on the same charge.

Three major rug and carpet manufacturers announced lower prices effective January 4 1964. Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co said floor covering prices drop 15 to 7 percent. Alexander Smith Inc White Plains New York followed with price cuts on individual carpet lines. A M Baraghousian The said discounts 2 to percent on its Gulisan line of floor coverings.
