She was born in Wrightsville Maine and in 1ATS married to Corry to Wellington Smith. In 1885 they moved from Corry to Fulwoods West and then to the first home in that Washington town. With her husband she helped establish the Congregational Church in that area. She left severnd relatives in the vicinity including Mrs LAgata Bowman of this city and Mrs J Muliela of Union City.
Vostus J. Wilcox returns to New York City yesterday as a g aleat of his father and friend, holding a position in the United States. Mrs. Ivan Crippan and her son John of Youdgestown left today with friends for Niagara Falls to visit Haralstor.
The board approved a basic cooking class at Corry High School for adults. Coach Gildershuey will lead the session at 4 PM Wednesday, with about 14 participants expected. The course fee is 1.20, covering materials and instruction, and a luncheon for members is planned after the session.
In Meadville Mr and Mrs George Sulth aged 65 and 70 perished in a small frame house fire discovered by Lin Smith a boy who heard the blaze and alerted neighbors. The body of Mr Sulth was found by bystanders while Mrs Smith was missing with fears her remains were consumed. Mr Sulth worked for the ria Railroad and they were longtime residents with two children Clutton and Balch, the latter visiting from the west. other relatives and friends gathered as the city mourned.
In a court decision Justia Dudley Ty 8 PENG Court blocked reorganization of the Catholic Mutual Benefit Association. The reserve fund must not be divided, with older and newer members facing proposed unequal rates. Temporary injunction kept in place as plans to split funds were argued against. Proceedings affect members nationwide and proceedings set for January 4.
