Bonds Not Filed Delayed by Officials After Week
Harrisburg reports officials in several counties have not filed bonds with the secretary of the commonwealth. Bonds for county officers cannot be sworn in next Monday without approval, delaying oaths and raising questions about which commissions are ready. Factory Wall Collapse Kills Two at Frankford Drewery Plant
In Philadelphia on December 28 a wall in the Rogedorer company Drewd factory at Unity and Elizabeth Streets, Frankford, collapsed while workers were finishing features near a tank. Two men were killed, four men plus two women and a boy injured. One injured man is missing presumed buried. About 600 workers were employed at the mill. the collapse created a large cavity and tore down a 30 foot wide section as water rushed in.

Delirious farmer's escape ends in tragedy near Creston
In Creston area on December 28 a delirious farmer Monro Stevie fled from Nisbrothen and was found dead between Creston and Tod i. Nicholas Steele vanished between the towns prompting a major search led by local authorities. Mayor W L Glewen called in bloodhounds from Cleveland but they could not be deployed in time. Rescue efforts continued as night fell.
