Robert S. Price of 556 East Milint Street, a 12 year CY Chivtell councilman aide, died after a week in illness. Born September 28, 188?, in Youngstown, Ohio, he moved to Corry at age six and worked 22 years at Climax Engine. He later joined Ajax-Tyan Works, retiring in 1964 as a machine shop foreman. Survived by widow Clara Merkinger, daughter Mrs Lirsronice C. Andersen, and grandsons David and Robert. He was a St Elizabeth's Church member. services at Bracken Funeral Home with a Requiem Mass at St Elizabeth's Church. Interment in St Elizabeth's Cemetery.
An Erie County youth, 16, died in a vehicle collision near Girard when a pickup truck crossed the median and struck his car. James Borland, 26, of West Springfield, drove the truck and the crash occurred around 4 PM. Bendure was pronounced dead at a physician’s office according to State Police.
