Erie Street holdup nets thief two thousand dollars
A gunman halted a cash drop on Erie Street yesterday afternoon, escaping with over 2000 dollars in checks and cash after grabbing a deposit, chased by manager Ue Gruber who tackled the thief. A suspect was pursued. the weapon was a 25 caliber revolver. Police expect later statements from the bank and witnesses.
