Ohio Bandits Make Getaway
Dec. 27. Wee machine gun bandits who escaped after robbing the Union Bank ing Co. here yesterday of $9,000 were hunted by Ohio and Pennsylvania police today. The only clue was fingerprints on the car abandoned five miles east of East Palestine where they likely switched to another auto and headed for Pennsylvania. The abandoned car had been stolen last Saturday from Paul Myers, Canton auto dealer. Group 8 of the Ohio Bankers Association offered a $500 reward for capture of the bandits.
