Dereyy Carrington of Sheffield was charged after allegedly attacking a woman walking home from work near Purity Restaurant. He struck her on the head and tried to drag her, but she escaped unharmed. Carrington was arrested by Sheffield Police Chief Mary Jefferson.
Damage suits arise from East Springfield crash
Erie, Dec 27. Seriously injured in an automobile collision in East Springfield, two suits have been filed in common pleas court of Erie against Emil Randall of Ash, seeking 15000 damages. In Peters v Fred Peters, plaintiff seeks 10000 damages. in Fred Peters v Emil Randall, 80000 damages are asked. The accident leaves the claimant in serious condition and police report pending.
