Joyful Christmas for Korean Orphan Adopted by Norristown Family
Jenny, a three year old from Korea, celebrates her first American Christmas with the Jones family after a perilous adoption history. $90 Million Set For Farm Conservation
The Agriculture Department plans to release $90 million in additional funds for the Agricultural Conservation Program next year, matching Congress approval and awaiting White House budget office clearance. The program subsidizes 50 to 75 percent of approved conservation projects, with debate over future funding and potential cuts in 1976–77. The effort supports farmers, especially small operators, and sustains conservation gains across many counties. Separately, China’s 1975 winter wheat crop may grow next year due to increased acreage, though official Chinese notices lack acreage figures.
