War Labor Board Refuses to Consider Strike Support
The War Labor Board declines to act as Pittfield plant workers at General Blastay plant in Pittfieldy threaten a sympathy strike. Central Labor Union members and Federated Trades Council back the walkout while workers plead for broader solidarity. A halt to the strike is expected as leaders plan to discuss sympathy actions later.
