Miraculous Escape After Route 6 Crash Near Corry
Corry State Police report Frank J. Jackson, 39, of Union City, lost control eastbound on Route 6, crashed a car through guard posts, rolled multiple times, and was arrested for drunken driving after a positive test. He was jailed to appear before Justice Floyd Marsh. Marsh plans to display the wreck at Exso Hall to warn motorists during the holidays.

A head on collision of two autos last night near Meadville killed Carl J. Durysta 30 Springboro and Dean Kellogg 38 Corneaut Ohio. Robert Bowen 38 Ashtabula Ohio, Kellogg’s passenger, was later admitted to Meadville City Hospital in satisfactory condition. Police reported the wreck occurred about 13 miles north of Meadville.
