County officials urged to replace Pokorski with Supplee
Erie December 28 Republican Women of Ere County urged county commissioners to fire assessment supervisor John Pokorski and appoint County Engineer William H. Supplee. The three commissioners said they would not change the post, noting Supplee is already maxed with work and would handle plot sheets for next year if directed. The group cited May 10 1929 authority to appoint a non political supervisor, praising Pokorski’s replacement as logical and cost free.
