Gunman Beaten by Hostages at Subic Bay Bank
Enraged by a pregnant hostage threat a Filipino gunman who held 14 Filipino hostages at a Subic Bay bank for 48 hours was beaten to death by the captives. Navy officials said the gunman died of a massive skull fracture two hours after Marines found him unconscious.
