Christmas Club Party and Local Social Notes
The Hi Neighbor Club hosted by Mrs Dale Eaton at Findley Lake held a Christmas party with a ham tureen dinner for 10 members and two children. Mrs Vernon Humphrey led a business meeting approving Janet Picone’s invitation while Margaret Bemis received a birthday acknowledgment. Several visits and travels among local residents are noted, and many guests are named including Hapgood, Casler, Middleton, Albright, Morton, VanEarden, Visosky, Nakoski, Duink, Wassink, Linendell, and Bemis. Sympathy is offered to Mrs James Briggs Sr. on her husband’s death. The column ends with seasonal wishes amid snowstorm delays.
