A two page letter found in the victim's car suggested jealousy and threats tied to Linda's refusal to date.
Juvenile Officer Jack Fahlstedt and Police Woman Catherine Em powerler identified a 4 year old boy in a two story home as Stephen Hickings, son of Grady and Darlo Hickman. Neighbors summoned police after neighbors described the boy’s room as filthy and the door wired shut from the outside. The boy appeared fairly well fed at St Mary’s Hospital while his parents, a 40 year old trash man and his 29 year old wife, were questioned. The family includes six other children aged 1 to 14, all reportedly in good condition.

Mrs. Fitt Broughton, 95, suffered injuries to her hip after a nighttime collision in Niagara Falls. She was taken to Mount Mary Hospital for treatment. Further details remain unclear due to damaged text.
