Postmaster James Sullivan announced that the Corry post office will close at bedock Saturday evening and reopen Tuesday morning. During the closure gift parcels and special delivery mail will be handled Sunday and Monday and all mail received Saturday for local delivery will be completed before night. Mail volume was light locally but inbound train mail remained heavy with eight or ten extra workers aiding the regular staff.
