HAMISBURG AP The Pennsylvania Revenue Department reminds residents that buying out of state for Christmas still incurs the 5 percent Pennsylvania Sales and Use Tax. Tax is earmarked for education. ads urge compliance. The bureau has alerted out of state buyers by noting license numbers and sending notices of liability, including mail purchases.
The YMCA announces a special holiday swim schedule from December 23 to January 3 with varied coed swim times for Gray and Jr and Sr high groups, special morning club swims, and afternoon movies. Note closures include noon on December 24 and several Thursday events such as Boys Individual Swimming Championships and Rainbow Girls events, with other activities listed and no high school dance.
