Temporary postal employees held in Pittsburgh for Christmas mail theft

Two temporary postal employees, John Hiben aged 37 and Raymond A. Gut aged 18, were held on $1,000 bond after being charged with stealing letters during the Christmas rush. Corry Native Killed in Korea

A Corry native Pfc. Robert Lawrence Graham was killed in Korea while serving as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. Born May 2, 1982, he grew up in Corry and Erie areas, and is survived by his mother Mrs. John Stough and several relatives. The War Department telegram notified the family.
