Slayer Seeks Pardon for Death Row Slayings

Edward Dipofi Jr. petitions the State Pardon Board to commute his death sentence for the March 1948 police slaying in Allegheny County. Co-defendants John Wilson and Henry Kmiec received life and 6 to 12 years. Prosecutors urge execution as a cold blooded murder.
