Red Cross first aid training plan for CCC camps
Since 1934 the Red Cross has offered first aid and training to 85 000 men a year. The program will be expanded to reach 800 000 as a national defense measure. Each CCC area will have a Red Cross first aid supervisor to train instructors for 1500 camps. Training aims to reduce camp accidents and prepare CCC boys for safety work in industry.
