Fairview School Presents Elaborate Christmas Programs

Pupils from seven grades at Fairview School staged a multi room Christmas program starting at 1:15 PM. Activities included performances in Room 1 led by Miss Carpenter, a second show by the Atos Brooks pupils in Room Na, and further acts in Rooms with teachers Miss Ross and Miss Marty. The event culminated in a grand chorus in Room 5 marking one of the season’s most elaborate displays.

Harrington Succumbs to Injuries at City Hospital

Thomas J. Harrington died at City Hospital last evening after being injured in an accident in the railroad yards when he fell under a locomotive of a freight train. He was 4 years old and had lived in Union City eight years. He leaves many relatives including parents Mr and Mrs J Bare Fington and a sister Miss Katharine. The body was taken to the home of his parents and the funeral will be held Monday morning at St Therews Church in Union City.
