Two Children Die In Rural Fire Disaster
In Bur-W-Two children died in a rural dwelling fire near Turkey City after an unattended stove sparked flames. Lawrence Alber Bunch, 8, and Johnny Allen Bane, 2, perished, while Mr and Mrs James Bynweh resided about a quarter mile away. Coroner Dr H M Wellman reported the blaze began shortly after noon, consuming the single story frame home as the father worked at Kaos Glass, Bottle Company.
