No Trace Found Of 2 Missing Oil City Lads
Oil City, Dec. 20. An all day search for Arden Golden seven and Bobby Cunningham ten stretched into Monday with fears rising for their safety. Authorities planned to drag the Allegheny river near State Street bridge and Church Street foot, while volunteers, police, Boy Scouts, and the Salvation Army covered marked sectors in what was described as one of the most systematic local searches. A trucker reported no sighting between Franklin and Reno. If exposed all night in the cold, the lads could have expired. Efforts also checked if they wandered to another city, but communications yielded no results.
